About Dr. Munroe:

Occasionally known as "Dr Alex," he spent 4 years in Prince Edward Island, Canada where he received his veterinary degree at the Atlantic Veterinary College.  He also holds a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in fine arts from Franklin Pierce University.

Originally from Framingham, MA, he moved to Maine in 2001.   As a recent addition to the Forest Avenue staff  he is excited to bring with him his experience with exotics, pain relief and emergency medicine.  

He lives with his wife, young son, and small herd of pets consisting of 2 second-hand purebreds and 5 cats.  In his "free time" he loves to motorcycle, draw, find any excuse to travel back to Canada, and is an avid audiophile who loves vocal music.
