Dr. Samantha Keenan grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and worked hard to achieve her dream. After recieving her bachelor's degree in animal science at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, she moved up to Prince Edward Island, Canada to attend veterinary school. Dr. Keenan graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI in 2004. Dr. Keenan began her veterinary career in central Maine but has found her home in southern Maine. Dr. Keenan is married with two young daughters. She and her family recently bought their first house in Gorham and look forward to making it their own.

Dr. Keenan enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine but has a special interest in animal behavior.
