The Altruism fund helps us provide care to patients that require intensive treatments, whose owners may be under financial constraints. The more donations we receive, the more care we can provide in times of need.

An Altruism Fund Story:

Odin, a one year old Miniature Schauzer, was one of these cases. He came to us the day after Christmas, with a history of refusing food and vomiting blood. Odin's owners were very upset becuase he meant the world to them, but they didn't have much money to put toward diagnosing and treating him. Working with the owner's financial situation, we were able to determine that he was suffering from Kidney Failure, likely fatal if untreated. Borrowing from the Altruism Fund as well as using their own funds, we worked together to get Odin the care he needed. I'm happy to report that he's made a full recovery. Thank you to all have supported the Altruism Fund.
